February 2006

I was supposed to be off in Phoenix racing at the Valley of the Sun. In my abscence I saw that my teammate Harrison Tripp finished 3rd in the T.T. yesterday. He is the other tall guy below in the photo below taken at our team presentation last week. To my right is Mike (Grizzly Adams) Garrett. In between Harrison an me are Dan Vinson and Aron Gadhia (ed Note: Aron wound up winning the Crit on Sun).

Across the bottom are (fresh from Iraq) Jeremy Dixon, (Bruin turned USC MBA student) Stu Press and the big daddy Josh Horowitz. Most of those guys are racing in AZ, but the real kick off to the season is happening tomorrow up in the bay area where the inaugural Tour of Cali starts with a prologue in SF from the Embarcadero. It continues down the coast through, Moterrey, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara. The race ends next week here in LA with a finishing circuit in Rendondo Beach. Phil Z has been making audio blog posts and photos from his camera phone during the course of the race.

I mean we finally get the house the way we want it, and now we have to sell it. Damn!

This morning Sabrina woke me up early with the news that two of our new closet doors are in the wrong frames (maple instead of aluminum). I am trying not to panic.

But with the open house just over a week away it is tough not to do so. I am waiting for a call back from my customer service rep after she checks the order. I hope she has a good answer for me, like mine are sitting in the warehouse and they just mislabled them because they had two of the same size. Anyway, I am going to be brave and not let the FEAR get to me!

Okay, so Sabrina may not find this all that funny (**note: actually she did find it quite funny), but I am dedicating it to her with all my nerd love!
