TVNo Comments
Well, yesterday I had the opportunity to be in a TV commercial with Lance Armstrong. Some of my teammates and I sprinted time and again with Lance for a Comcast ad. I am not sure when it is going to air, or whether I will make it past the cutting room floor. Although from what I have heard it won’t matter much as I believe it is going to be airing in the Mid-west only.

I say that I have finally met him because almost all of my friends have met and ridden with him in some capacity. One of my friends
Mike Creed is now riding for U.S. Postal. Another homeboy
Mike Ward is good friends with him and has taken my training partner James out on numerous rides with him. Plus many of my friends have been riding with the U.S. Postal squad back in Arizona where they have been holding their spring training camp for the last several years. In fact the last couple years they have held PR events at the bike shop I used to work at, the
Bicycle Ranch.

Movies[3] Comments
All the reviews were pretty good, but my gut told me it was a loser. I should have listened to my gut. Man this might have made a pretty cool movie about fifteen years ago. I mean for all of the hype around the fact that this was all filmed in front of a blue screen and then the backgrounds were digitally created, I was not overly impressed. But worse than all of that was the preposterous story. I mean I can suspend my disbelief and buy into the Matrix or the Lord of the Rings or even Harry Potter. There just has to be some consistencies in the story line. The story for Sky Capt starts in New York [Manhattan]where apparently across the Verzano Bridge there are large snow capped mountains. What the hell. Make up your mind. Is it New York, or is is some fictional big city like Metropolis.

The bottom of the barrel though was poor Gwyneth Paltrow’s character being the most foolhardy reporter ever conceived. I mean I get the Lois Lane like get the story at any cost, but the things this women does are opposed to every natural instinct of a human being. Anyway, luckily my bowels started acting up to the point that I really just had to get up and walk out right before the final big show down. I am sure that I missed nothing from this predictable cliche of a film.
BTW:// my teammate just proposed to his girl

It seems I have not been making as much use of this space as I had hoped. At the very least I have managed to encourged my sister to do some blogging of her own. I must admit that I find hers much more interesting to read than my own.
Mrs. Blog and I went to the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night for the Fireworks Finale: A Night at the Moulin Rouge.

It was a great show and we especially enjoyed the fireworks which were well timed and imaginatve.
